What the extension does
Only when you click the extension and give it an instruction, it (a) reads the structure and visible text of the page you are viewing, (b) may capture a screenshot of the visible tab so the agent can understand the page layout, and (c) sends that page context — together with your instruction and, where needed, your saved profile — to EduAstra's API, which returns the next action (fill a field, click, scroll, answer your question). Every action is shown live and you can stop at any time. The extension never submits, sends, or pays on your behalf — those clicks are always yours.
What we collect, and for how long
Your profile (name, email, and details you choose to add) is stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device only — never on our servers. Page text, form-field labels, screenshots, and your instructions are processed transiently to generate the requested action and are not retained, not used to train any model, and not sold or shared. Processing uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI as a data processor under its enterprise privacy terms (Azure does not retain or train on this data either).
What we never do
We never act without your instruction, never read pages in the background, never auto-submit forms or send messages, never fill or transmit passwords, card numbers, Aadhaar, PAN, or other government identifiers, never sell or share your data, never use your data for advertising, and never show ads. The extension only acts on the tab where you invoked it, and stops when the task is done or you press Stop.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your saved profile at any time from the extension's options page, and uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data. We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
